Out of the Fog
How fitting, a gloomy scene brings new light. Not that I'm an expert on the situation, but being an emotional Pisces that I am, I know a thing or two on the matter. So I felt this was all too coincidental when a huge campaign premiered on my birthday at Paris Fashion Week. The Fall/Winter 2001 RTW Chanel collection was just as inspirational as ever; not with beauty, but with design. Chanel has strayed from classic beauty... grunge, grey, boots, baggy, dark, PANTS! Chanel has not only gone morbid, but open minded which in my opinion will open just as much business to a new and growing older demographic that Chanel rightfully deserves. Loving NOT every piece... but appreciated EVERY ounce of creativity that comes out of Uncle Karl.
