Gaga for Gandy

David Gandy... Supermodel. Dolce and Gabbana. Exotic. Perfect Tan. Tall. Dark. Handsome. LUCKY! With his all around striking features, I'm sure its been hard to miss him with Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Fragrance commercials invaded our televasions not too soon after virtually popping out of every fashion editiorial on the planet. For this Vogue Hommes International's L'Homme de Pacifique fashion story he gets to wear top brands such as Armani Exchange, D&G, Bottega Venetta, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Omega, Tom Ford, DsQUARED, Dolce & Gabbana, Polo Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, Hermes, and many others. I have deemed him the luckiest guy on vacation. Excellent styling and color coordination, I loved every inch of these beautiful photographs by Jack Pierson.

Out of the Fog

How fitting, a gloomy scene brings new light. Not that I'm an expert on the situation, but being an emotional Pisces that I am, I know a thing or two on the matter. So I felt this was all too coincidental when a huge campaign premiered on my birthday at Paris Fashion Week. The Fall/Winter 2001 RTW Chanel collection was just as inspirational as ever; not with beauty, but with design. Chanel has strayed from classic beauty... grunge, grey, boots, baggy, dark, PANTS! Chanel has not only gone morbid, but open minded which in my opinion will open just as much business to a new and growing older demographic that Chanel rightfully deserves. Loving NOT every piece... but appreciated EVERY ounce of creativity that comes out of Uncle Karl.

PS: Karl... Get it together with a MENS COLLECTION! Thanks and appreciation. :]

Zombie Boy Love!

Ok, I know Thierry Mugler is wearing his welcome along with Gaga on this personal blog, but innovation deserves attention, and I give credit where credit is due. Not only am I a fan of giving a lending hand to less fortunate, but also to people with a talent; born with or not. For instance, this lovely tattooed gentleman has not always been tattooed, but becoming a zombie was his passion and I'm a firm believer that if you follow your heart, you will find happiness. This rags to riches story is just that, fitted in perfect fashion to speak quite literally. You would guess it is very hard for a zombie boy to find work... and it is. Luckily, the universes had aligned and The Zombie Boy became the new face for the reinvented Thierry Mugler feat. Gaga. If this is not love in perfection, I suggest you leave the blog. ENJOY!

Arsenic: To Die For

Dead. My senses have been even more dulled after seeing this. The vibrancy, the texture, the structure, the class, the history, The frills, the feathers, the art, the makeup, the shoes, the POWDER! With this jam packed editorial by Aneta Kowalczyk, there is no wonder most editorials will never hold a candle to this one. I loved the styling, the construction, the artsyness of it all, I hope you do too. Now on to find out who made all these wonderful garments!

Why For The Love of YSL...

CAN WE NOT LIVE IN A YSL WORLD?? To put it perfectly straight forward... But seriously! If people lived in a more modern, sophisticated, DARING world, then I'm sure more people would be wearing YSL's newest... not to mention, be much more fabulous and stress free about feeling pretty. Too beautiful, too fine... Enjoy!

Gaga's Runway Premier w/ Mugler!

Lady Gaga made her runway debut at the Thierry Mugler Fall 2011 RTW as well as premiering a remix of  her second single off of her anticipated "Born This Way" album, due out in May, "Government Hooker." The show started in pitch black darkness with an erie chiming of Gaga's voice chanting whatever you could make of it but quickly drops with an operatic verse and picks up with an Industrial-German-Pop-Club Mix talking about JFK, being whatever you want to be and drinking your tears. Amazing. Besides the music, the fashion was nothing short of inspirational. Skin tight cat suits, sheer bodices, plastic leg-o-mutton sleeves, plastic long skirts, heels to die for and not to mention, Gaga, who opened AND closed the show. Take a look.
