Kanye, Runaway.

Not that I'm a fan of Kanye's being on this planet, but he has some good beats and sick visuals. So credit is placed where credit is deserved in this instance. His new 34m video, which samples songs from his forthcoming album, has every element in place for the approaching seasons and I think really sets the tone for Spring-Fall 2011. The color scheme, the design, everthing.

Shabby Apple Design!

Alright everyone, this is an assignment I had to work on for a design class I'm taking. We were supposed to design for a company called www.shabbyapple.com. They are a very simply designed womens dress site and have really cute and simple design. After researching the client, we had to research current trends and styles that we would like to use towards our designs along with a movie we were taking inspiration from. Seeing how 70's influence is way in (Thank you Marc Jacobs), I used the movie "Casino" Starring Robert Deniro and Sharon Stone. I created a cute 50's design and took the fabrication to the element of 70's the assignment called for.  This is my mood board for the line along with the Line Sheet itself. I hope you enjoy the work, be kind, I'm a beginner.

Gaga Time

We all know about her. But do we know what made her? Or who made what she wore?  Not really... being so deep into the scene, Gaga knows the unknown and exclusive so I thought I'd bring it to you; The designers of some of Gaga's most outlandish gowns... starting with the Living dress Brought to you by designer Vin Burnham. The gown is complete with animatronics none the less that make it look as if it's breathing, expanding in and out with a wing span of  of 5ft. And no show stopper would be complete without a headress that wears you.
